Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso
"Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso" or Of Love and Lies (English title) is a Philippine drama produced by GMA Network. Its pilot aired on May 21, 2007, and is the second instalment of Sine Novela, a series of remake of films[1]. The original movie was released back in 1985.it is aired worldwide via GMA Life TV.
Plot
When Aldrin (JC de Vera) returns from the United States, everyone is as ecstatic as his grandfather (Eddie Gutierrez). But his reason for going home is not because of his grandfather but his sister who is in an asylum. His vow is to take her away from their grandfather who caused the early death of their parents. To avenge for what happened to his family, Aldrin plans a final revenge by humiliating the family name by marrying a young maid whom he knows has a crush on him, Jenna (Yasmien Kurdi). But little by little, his feelings grow for her, even if his scheming grandfather tries to control their lives. Revenge is almost at his hands but because of his lies, starts to lose the girl who now become his life.[2]

- Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso? was actually a novel written by Helen Meriz.
- When JC de Vera was replaced in Sinasamba Kita, GMA Network gave this project instead as a form of compensation, but it paid off because he had a quick follow up with another Sine novela entitled Pasan ko ang Daigdig.
- This is the first show that Yasmien Kurdi gets the first billing.
- Originally, the role of Jenna was given to Stef Prescott.
